Definizione

Definition: After the war, Czechoslovakia is reconstituted. The "Third Republic" does not recover Carpathian Ruthenia, which is lost to the Soviet Union, but it does recover Silesian and Sudeten territory lost to Germany in 1938. The German-speaking population is expelled. Slovakia receives limited autonomy. Returning Jews feel unwelcome; their requests for the return of property are met with hostility. (en-US)
