Definizione

Born in Turin, Italy, to a prominent Jewish family in 1915, Emanuele Artom became a resistance fighter after September 1943. He was arrested by the Germans and tortured to death in 1944. His diary chronicled the events of the war and occupation in Italy from 1940 to 1944. (en-US)
