Rome province is located in central Italy in the Latium Region and includes the city of Rome and its extended surroundings. The province capital is the city of Rome. Rome is bordered in the west by the Tyrrhenian Sea and clockwise by the Italian provinces of Viterbo, Rieti, L'Aquila, Frosinone, Latina.
