The province of Bohemia is located in Central Europe. It constituted the NW province and constituent state of Austria-Hungary and it was bordered by Germany, the province of Moravia, Upper and Lower Austria in 1920s. 1900-1918: Austria-Hungary (state of Bohemia) 1918-1939: Czechoslovakia 1939-1945: Occupied by Germany, the major part of Bohemia was governed as the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia. Smaller areas were annexed into Germany, e.g. Sudetenland. 1945: Liberated by the Soviet Army 1945-1992: Czechoslovakia 1993- : Czech Republic (en-US)
