Use for discussions of aid, received or given, within the context of a migration experience. This keyword may be used for the immediate post-liberation or postwar context when the aid assisted a survivor who was directly disadvantaged by persecution. Migration is defined as legally or illegally leaving or entering a country for any reason other than an attempt to evade perceived or actual Nazi and/or Axis persecution.
For discussions in which individuals were provided with Greek identity papers or passed as Greek refugees in order to leave Soviet-occupied territories during or after World War II, see "aid: "Greek bluff". (en-US)
