The Isle of Man lies off the northwestern coast of England in the Irish Sea and is a dependent state of England. The capital city is Douglas. During WWII, the British authorities established a number of internment camps near the cities of Douglas, Peel, Ramsey and Rushen for refugees classified as enemy aliens. (en-US)
