Definizione

On February 10, 1938, King Carol II establishes a royal dictatorship; on March 31, he dissolves all political parties and societies, and on December 16, he establishes the pro-royal National Renaissance Front (FRN). On November 30, 1938 while in jail, the head of the Iron Guard, Corneliu Codreanu is killed by his guards. Antisemitic incidents and attacks ensue. The admission of Jews to public schools is restricted. (en-US)
